LEGAL NOTICE:
The Hanover Area School Board will hold the Regular Monthly School Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
The Work Session will be held in the Superintendent's Conference Room of the Junior-Senior High School beginning at 6:30 PM.
The Public Meeting will be held in the Auditorium of the Junior-Senior High School beginning at 6:45 PM.
Anyone who wishes to address the Baord should send a request in writing to lvitale@hanoverarea.net no later than August 12, 2025, at noon.

Hanover Area Virtual Academy Registration:
2025-2026. Enrollment closes August 16, 2025.
Please complete this form to register your child for the Hanover Area Virtual Academy for 2025-2026 school year. Please be sure to complete one for each child you wish to enroll.
NEW INFORMATION: Once the registration is complete, parent(s) and student(s) will be required to attend a meeting with guidance and/or the principal to review the program and the code of conduct/student agreement.
**District attendance policies are strictly enforced. Students are expected to work in each course daily and adhere to deadlines. Attendance requires at least three hours of time on activities in the course management system daily. Less than 3 hours is marked absent for the day.
Plagiarism/use of AI is strictly prohibited. First offense is assigned a zero for the assignment/discussion. Multiple offenses will result in your child being removed from the virtual program and your child will be required to return to the building for in-person instruction.

Your child must be at least 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, to enroll.

Your Child (only the child you plan to register)
Parent/Guardian's Photo ID (with Hanover Area address)
Child's Birth Certificate
Current Immunization Records and Physical Examination
Three (3) documents showing residency within the District
- 1 copy of the following: current lease, deed, mortgage, or property tax bill
- 2 copies of the following: utility bill/hookup letter, pay stub, bank statement, homeowners/renters insurance, etc (a driver's license cannot be used as Proof of Residency)
Notarized Non-Parent Guardian Affidavit (if applicable). If child lives with someone other than the natural parent/legal guardian.
Norarized Multi-Pccupany Affidavit signed by the homeowner (if applicable) If the natural parent/guardian is not listed on a deed, lease, or mortgage statement.
Custody agreements (if applicable)
Parents/Guardians will be required to complete the Online Student Registration Application along with additional paperwork during the registration process. To expedite the process you can pick up additional paperwork at Lyndwood Elementary School to be completed and returned the day of registration.
The Registration process involves: Academic Testing, Vision, Hearing, and Speech Screenings. The entire process will take approximately one hour.
The last line states the next board meeting is on July 25. The correct date for the Hanover Area School Board's next meeting is July 15, 2025.
