Bus Transportation for Eligible Resident Students to Non-Public School
Under the guidelines issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for operation under Act 372, requests for transportation for eligible students to a non-public school must be submitted by the non-public school in which the student is registered.
Non-Public School Request for Transportation Form
In the event that the Hanover Area School District is operating on a 2 hour delay, the busses/vans transporting students to non-public or out of district schools will also be operating on a 2 hour delay; regardless if their school is delayed or not.
A list of such pupils must be submitted by mail, fax or email to the Director of Transportation no later than August 1st.
Please include all individual student information regardless of which school the student attended the previous year. Failure to do so may result in incorrect bus assignment or in no assignment at all.
Bus Stops are determined by the students' home address; any change of address must be made at the child's school so the Principal may forward the updated information to the Transportation Director.
In order to ensure accountability for all our students, assigned buses & stops must be strictly adhered to.
We ask for your patience & understanding while adjustments to the bus routes/bus stops are completed to make sure all students arrive at their assigned school in a safe & timely manner.

In the event that the Hanover Area School District is operating on a 2 hour delay, the busses transporting students to Wilkes-Barre CTC will operate on a 3 hour delay. Please have your student report to their regular bus stop 3 hours later than their normally scheduled time.
Students are required to wear a mask for the entire length of the run. If a student is not wearing a mask or is refusing to keep their mask on, they will not be permitted to ride the bus.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all assigned bus stops must be strictly adhered to. Students will NOT be permitted on a bus at an alternate bus stop. Also, due to the shortened time frame, all pick-ups will be strictly at the bus stops. Pick-ups at individual homes cannot be accommodated.
The times listed are the FIRST pick up of the run. Due to shortened runs, please have your students at their assigned stops 10 minutes BEFORE the time listed.
