This course is offered to both Junior & Seniors who are seeking an elective course that will allow the student to explore in a creative manner. Each student will begin with becoming familiar with HTML, CSS and will then move forward to creating basic to intermediate websites with Dreamweaver. Students will be able to embed videos, music, links and work with various graphics. Students will then gain skills with both Fireworks and Flash. Both these applications will allow stronger and advanced sites to be built. Maneuvering and working with pictures, moving objects and creating scenes will be instructed with hands on exercises throughout the full year course. Students will work independently and also with in multiple group and team environments. They will seek existing businesses that are willing to have a website built and or updated for class projects and grading.
Students will also be enrolled in various competitions to compete with high schools locally and state wide.
Course requires self discipline, creativity and the willingness to gain various computer skills.
