For three weeks during the month of February, 2010, Lyndwood Elementary students collected pennies and other spare change to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Pennies for Patients campaign. Students collected $2161.53 and the top two fundraising classes will be treated to a pizza party. Mr. Horensky’s third grade class collected $174.53, and Mr. Papadoplos’ fourth grade class collected $208.64.
