Principal's Message
One our nation ’s most important goals is to the development of a high quality public education system that will prepare all youngsters for life in a fast-changing and complex world. Indeed, the faculty at Lyndwood is in total agreement. We are very proud to be a part of the Hanover Area School District and we strive to meet this goal each and everyday of our educational lives. Therefore, our focus is on service and excellence and we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with your children; because, without the students, we would have to close our doors.
In the words of Clifton Fadiman: “There is an intimate knowledge connection between survival of democracy and the quality of our public education system.” Also, the importance of teaching and learning was well stated by a late President of the United States: “From the desk where I sit, the answer to all the world problems is found in a single word. That word is education.” Those words inspire and support our challenge and commitment we educators have for quality education here at Lyndwood.
