Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Junior Volunteers
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Volunteer Services announced the application process for Junior Volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve others and learn about the health care profession and a career in hospital environment. Student between the ages of 13 and 18 may apply for the Candy Striper Program for girls or the Red Coat Program for boys. To qualify for the 2008 Summer Program, parental consent and the service preference form must be returned to WB General Hospital by May 31st. Be prompt. Applications are chosen in the order of registration and are available in the guidance office. All new volunteers must attend a June 4th Orientation. |
Busing
Serious safety hazards to students can occur when cars are parked in bus zones near the schools during inclement weather. Therefore, please adhere to the following when parking near our school buildings. Also please adhere to the fact that there is no parking in bus loading/unloading zones.
