On March 28, 2008 Hanover Memorial Elementary held a scholastic competition to prepare for the PSSA examination under the direction of Title I teachers, Mrs. Kendra Korpusik and Mrs. Sharon Pericci.  The contest, “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” involved the entire fifth grade class.  Homerooms were broken into teams and answered questions related to math and reading.  The winning homeroom was Mrs. Nancy Chafin’s 5-4 class.
